Life after college has brought a whirlwind of emotions: excitement, stress, happiness, and confusion. Sometimes, my feelings are overwhelming and I lose sight of what brings me joy. So, today I decided to write a letter of thanks:

I'm thankful for the sunny mornings when I wake up to the wonderful view of the mountains.

I'm thankful for the people around me who show love and care even in moments of stress.

I'm thankful that I get to work with great people everyday and for ukulele days at work on Thursdays.

I'm thankful for my ukulele because God only knows how much it heals my sadness or frustration after a tough day.

I'm thankful for the Latino/a community in tech who consistently works towards inspiring and helping others.

I'm thankful that I live in a country with new opportunities that I have the freedom to pursue.

I'm thankful for my car and all my road trip adventures.

I'm thankful for Santa Barbara's sunsets that constantly remind me that I'm lucky to be here.

I'm thankful for my Guatemalan heritage and the beauty of my culture.

I'm thankful for my room and ability to have my own space to destress.

I'm thankful for all the new friends I have made this last year.

I'm thankful for my siblings, because they're the reason I perservere.

I'm thankful for life, because even though there are ups and downs, I'd rather enjoy the ride then have it end.
