QuinceaƱeras

Princess in the house! My cousin's big day.

This season has been filled with excitement because my sister and cousin turned 15 and had QuinceaƱeras. They weren't big and planned like most traditional Quince's, but it was still nice to be with the family and celebrate my sister and cousin becoming young ladies. It was also great to see the ladies in my family be so creative with the decorations! My little sister's dinner was Alice and Wonderland themed, I was in shock at how amazing it came out!

My sister's decorations, see that awesome cake?

It's been fun and I just wanted to share some of the pictures I have taken. I recently started a photoshoot fundraiser since I will be going to Mexico this summer on a mission's trip so there might be more photo posts soon!

Peace & love,

Lissah + Alex | Engagement

You could say that the past year I haven't paid much attention to my photography. I've been wanting to pick it up again and practice more but it gets difficult with school and other committments. This past month, however, I've had the wonderful opportunity to pick it up again.

This last weekend I took my friends' engagement photos, Lissah & Alex. I met them at UCSB when I joined InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and it's been a pleasure getting to know them. Their shoot was so much fun! We started by going to campus and other couple places that meant a lot to them - the library, the Life Sciences Building, and more. I loved taking the pictures in the library, it was fun to use the books and shelves in the shots.

Shhhh!

Lissah & Alex are so in love, it was adorable to capture! I had loads of fun. After campus we headed to Ellwood Beach (a new discovery for me!). Ellwood beach is beautiful, there's beautiful trees, meadows, and of course water! It's such a beautiful location and such a great place here in Santa Barbara to shoot pictures.

I've had such a great time experimenting with these photo shoots (thanks Xio for helping me!), and it has inspired me to blog more, so hopefully there will be more posts in the future!

Peace & Love,
Lupita
